A Vignette:

​Meet Julie.

​​Julie wants to learn how to garden but has no green thumb and doesn't want to scour the internet for tips because that would take way too long.
She really just wants someone to teach her but no one she knows gardens.
Enter Wite Collar.
She discovers Wite Collar on YouTube and decides to sign up on the app and see who she can find as a gardening mentor.
She gets matched to a mentor, Hannah, that she meets with virtually for gardening advice and they meet on weekly, where Julie shows Hannah her starter garden. By Julie sharing her screen with Hannah, Hannah is able to give her detailed advice on what she needs to do to nurture her garden as well as sends her gardening tips via direct message to help her along. Julie is grateful for Hannah’s advice and that she is always readily available to answer any questions she might have.
After six months of receiving gardening advice, Julie’s garden is blooming and she has way more produce than she intended. She continues to work with Hannah on whether she should start a community garden or sell her produce. Hannah’s advisement helps Julie decide to start a community garden and Hannah helps Julie to connect with another Mentor on the app to help her start her nonprofit business.
Mentorship is not always about helping you to make money but most importantly to connect you to your vision and purpose.
